Biography: D.W. Stuart is a multi-genre singer songwriter born and raised in North Carolina and has performed throughout the US and NC from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Crystal Coast. D.W. has strong country roots having grown up in rural central NC. Growing up with country legends George Jones, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and many other country gold artists helped shape his musical foundation early on. Rock and Roll has also played a huge part in D.W.'s musical resume throughout his career. D.W. has stayed true to his NC roots fusing his love of rock and country music in the Alt-Country genre with his band D.W. & The Spirit Kings - Mike Reese (Bass Guitar), Rick Sykes - (Lead Guitar & Slide Guitar) and John Palmer - (Drums & Percussion).
